Short Biography
Dr Kenneth Tan founded OptimaNumerics in 2002, with a prominent international background in supercomputing and computational science. While pursuing his engineering degree, he was in the hardware sales business, and subsequently worked as an HPC and large scale storage researcher in Canada before moving on to private HPC consultancy in the European market, servicing customers in the high end financial simulation and forecasting software area.
In 2000, he was appointed as the youngest university lecturer at Queen's University Belfast, after completing his PhD in record time at the University of Reading.
